Four Godley High School students competed in the state championship hosted by the Texas High School Bass Association on May 18-19, 2024, at Lake Palestine.

Competing were Blane Applegate with partner Camden Darder and Owen Dickson with partner Braeden Gregg.  The four GHS students advanced from the regional contest on Apr. 20 at Possum Kingdom Lake.

Founded in 2014, THSBA provides a venue where high school students have the opportunity to compete in organized tournaments while establishing strict guidelines and academic standards that will allow our student anglers to excel in the classroom and on the lake.
