Godley ISD principals Tom Frazier and Stephanie Wynne will be leading new campuses beginning in the 2024-25 school year.
Frazier will move from Godley Middle School to Legacy Elementary School, while Wynne will take the reins at GMS after serving the last year at Godley 6th Grade Campus.
“We have enormous confidence in both Tom and Stephanie, and we hope that this move helps them grow professionally to provide strong academic leadership,” commented Superintendent Dr. Rich Dear. “I know our Legacy and GMS students, parents and teachers will love working with both of them and that this change will further our progress in Godley ISD.”
Originally from Stephenville, Frazier has led GMS since 2020 after working as a math teacher on the campus and as assistant principal at Godley High School.
Frazier earned a bachelor's degree in curriculum and instruction for math and science from Tarleton State University. He received the university's Undergraduate Research Award and presented at multiple state, national, and international conferences. Frazier later received a master's degree in educational leadership from the University of North Texas.
A native of Weatherford, Wynne spent 15 years in her hometown, where she served as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and principal. She also taught in White Settlement for two years prior to beginning work in Weatherford as a first-grade teacher at Seguin Elementary School in 2008. Prior to coming to Godley in 2023, Wynne was principal of Hall Middle School.
Wynne earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Tarleton State University and later a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Texas at Tyler.
The moves leave an opening at the sixth grade campus, which the district will seek to fill promptly.
