Godley ISD elementary students enjoyed fun learning activities centered around the story of Johnny Appleseed during the week of September 23, 2024.

Students, including first graders at Pleasant View Elementary School and kindergarteners at Legacy Elementary School, listened to the story and then engaged in several learning and hands-on activities such as crafts and coloring, taste tests, science experiments and more. 

Some classes rotated through centers as students experienced multiple instructional activities throughout class time, as lessons brought the folklore story to life for the youngsters.
