Godley High School senior Keaton Eggleston announced plans to continue running track at Southwestern University during a signing ceremony on May 13, 2024.

Located in Winfield, Kansas, the Moundbiulders compete in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Eggleston was fourth in the 100-meter dash and third in the 200-meter dash at the district meet.  At the area contest, he was third and second respectively to earn regional bids for both.  

The GHS senior is pictured with his parents, Cody and Jessica Eggleston, along with GHS track and field coaches. They were joined by Godley teammates at the college signing at GHS.
