Godley ISD students winning the third annual CTE Poster Contest were honored by school board trustees on February 20, 2025.

With the competition sponsored by the school district’s career and technical education program, students in grades PK-6 created posters highlighting the theme “Imagine Me As …” With creativity, students included photos, artwork and written material to highlight their dreams for future careers. 

Campuses selected top posters from each grade level, and then a district-level committee chose winners from each grade level across the district.

Students honored from Godley Middle School, Godley 6th Grade Campus, Legacy Elementary School, Pleasant View Elementary School and R.B. Godley Elementary School were:

  • Pre-Kindergarten:  Addilyn Jinkens, RBG
  • Kindergarten:  Cooper Mabery, RBG, first; Maelynn Cook, RBG, second
  • 1st Grade:  Britley Miller, Legacy, first; Harper Lancaster, Legacy, second
  • 2nd Grade:  Weston Leonhardt, RBG, first; Ryan Rawls, RBG, second
  • 3rd Grade:  Ella Welch, PV, first; Lillian Montelango, Legacy, and Jackson Aguilar, second
  • 4th Grade:  Ezekiel Rodriguez, RBG, first; Fisher Barrett, RBG, second
  • 5th Grade:  Maxine Cisneros, Legacy, first; Londyn Losey, Legacy, and Tanner Barsch, RBG, second
  • 6th Grade:  Milah Perez, G6, first; Natalia Macias, G6, second
  • 7th Grade:  Jimena Ramirez, GMS, first; Margaret Struc, GMS, second

Presenting awards were CTE director Nikki Nix and campus principals.
