Coach Brent Lewis hit a special milestone in his 8-year head coaching career, posting 100 varsity victories as the Godley Wildcats beat two opponents during the Gary T. Balch Classic on February 23, 2023. 

The GHS boys beat Fort Worth Trimble Tech 13-0 and Lubbock 10-0 to kick off the three-day tourney at Godley High School. 

Lewis took the reins of the Godley baseball team in 2019 after two years as an assistant coach.  He previously was head baseball coach in Nocona for four years after serving as an assistant at Brewer High School.

A graduate of Tarleton State University, Lewis played on the TSU team as well as squads at both North Central Texas College and West Texas A&M University. He is a native of White Settlement.
