“Was it Professor Plum… or Miss Scarlet?” That was just one of the puzzling questions Godley 6th Grade Campus students tackled during the school’s second annual Clue Mystery Week. Held the week of October 20, 2025, the week-long event turned the campus into a live-action whodunit, giving students a hands-on opportunity to practice critical thinking and collaboration.
“With a 1940s-style serial radio show playing during morning announcements, students were encouraged to work together, follow clues, and think critically to solve the mystery,” said Principal Jayme Duckett. “It was an exciting, interactive way to engage students while building teamwork and school spirit.”
The Clue adventure created a playful, immersive experience that strengthened community and culture at Godley 6th Grade Campus. Students and staff alike enjoyed the challenge, which unfolded throughout the week and kept everyone guessing until the final reveal.
The event was supported by the Godley Chamber of Commerce and a number of local businesses that provided prizes, including ACS Bank, Bougie Bobbin, Chesmar Homes, Dairy Queen, Godley Plumbing, Hearts for Heroes Realty Group, The Hubb, Roden Real Estate Group, and Scentsy.
