Godley High School senior Cadence Chambliess announced plans to continue playing softball at Murray State College during a signing ceremony on May 1, 2024.

Located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, the Aggies compete in Region II of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Last year as a junior, Chambliess claimed a spot on the Texas Sports Writers Association’s All-State first team among Class 4A players. She was also the District 10-4A most valuable player and shared MVP honors on the All-Johnson County superlative list.
