Godley High School senior Peyton Bower announced plans to continue her cheerleading career at Trinity Valley Community College during a signing ceremony held March 20, 2026.

Located in Athens, the Cardinals compete in Region 14 of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

An All-American co-captain for the Godley cheer squad, Bower helped lead the team to a fourth-place finish at the NCA High School Nationals earlier this year after placing 12th in 2025 in the program’s first-ever appearance at the national competition.  Godley also shined at UIL State Spirit Championships.
