Godley High School senior Keegan Bohannon announced plans to continue playing football in college at Hardin-Simmons University during a signing ceremony on February 20, 2026.

Located in Abilene, Hardin-Simmons competes in NCAA Division III athletics as a member of the American Southwest Conference.

A three-year varsity offensive lineman, Bohannon helped lead the Wildcats to the Class 4A Division II postseason in each of his three seasons. He earned honorable mention all-district honors as a junior and was named first-team all-district as a senior in 2025. Bohannon also received All-Johnson County recognition.
