Godley ISD schools are observing National Assistant Principals Week on April 3-7, 2023.
The national designation comes from the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals to honor the contribution of assistant principals to the success of students in schools across the United States.
The week is a celebration of the unsung heroes in our education system, according to the organizations. “These dedicated folks work tirelessly to bolster teachers, motivate students, support their principal, create a positive learning community and face the many unpredictable challenges that land on their desk,” sponsors said.
GISD assistant principals are:
-
Godley High School – Dustin Conn and Leah McCauley
-

-

-

-

-

“School leadership is vital to the success of all students,” commented GISD superintendent Dr. Rich Dear. “Please take time to recognize the positive contributions of our assistant principals toward student achievement.”
