Seventy-nine Godley High School seniors earned a well-deserved treat during the first “Apply for Pie” celebration on November 30, 2023.

“Apply for Pie” celebrates seniors who have applied to at least one junior college, trade or technical school or university, according to GHS counselors Bailey Copeland and Danielle Harper.

Over a dozen pies - and one popular sopapilla cheesecake - were enjoyed by the honorees thanks to a generous donation by Chisholms Restaurant in Downtown Godley.

College and career readiness are a top focus for Godley ISD, with student readiness one of seven important pillars in the Community Based Accountability System.
