Getting ready for the first day of school? We've gathered several helpful resources to make back-to-school shopping a little easier!
📋 2026-27 School Supply Lists
Find your student's supply list at www.godleyisd.net/schoolsupplies
Available for:
• Elementary Schools (Pre-K-Grade 5)
• Godley 6th Grade Campus
• Godley Middle School (Grades 7-8)
Godley High School: School supplies vary by course. Students will receive supply information from their teachers based on individual class requirements.
🛍️ Texas Sales Tax Holiday | Aug. 7-9
Take advantage of tax-free shopping on many back-to-school essentials! Qualifying items priced under $100 each are exempt from state and local sales tax when purchased in stores or online.
Many qualifying items include:
• Most clothing, including school uniforms
• Most shoes and boots
• Backpacks
• School supplies such as notebooks, notebook paper, folders, binders, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, rulers, lunch boxes and many art supplies
• Calculators priced under $100

🍎 Need School Supply Assistance?
The Johnson County Apples Coalition will provide free school supplies for eligible low-income public school students while supplies last.

📍 Cleburne High School
850 N. Nolan River Rd., Cleburne
On-site registration is required. Please bring:
• Parent/guardian ID
• Student birth certificate
The event serves eligible students from Godley ISD, Cleburne ISD, Joshua ISD, Keene ISD and Rio Vista ISD.
