Godley ISD Transportation operates 26 bus routes and transports approximately 1,000 students to and from school each day. During the 2025–2026 school year, district school buses traveled more than 154,300 miles while safely transporting students across portions of Johnson, Hood and Tarrant counties.

In addition to daily route service, the Transportation Department supports extracurricular and academic activities, including athletic events, UIL competitions, field trips, fine arts events and other student-related travel. During the 2025–2026 school year, Godley ISD completed nearly 1,000 extracurricular and activity trips, with field trip buses and district vehicles traveling approximately 80,000 miles.

The department also provides district vehicles for administrative travel, staff development and other operational needs. Godley ISD Transportation is committed to providing safe, reliable and professional service that supports students, staff and schools throughout the year.
