Returning Student Information for 2025-26 School Year
Skyward Online Registration
Registration for returning Godley ISD students will begin on Monday, July 21, 2025 via Skyward.
Registration Assistance Night for any new or returning student
Thursday. July 31 (5-7pm) at Godley 6th Grade Campus

Proof of Residency
All students must submit proof of residency in Godley ISD.
Documents may be submitted by email to each campus where the parent/guardian has students. Please include the student name in the subject line of the email.
Or a copy may be brought to the campus beginning Monday, July 21 between 8am-3:30pm (may be closed during lunchtime). Please include the student name on the submitted document.
Parents residing with another person (such as a friend or family member) must complete a residency form that is notarized by a school official. The homeowner (or individual on lease or bills) must be present. The district will accept these forms and documentation on Thursday, July 17 from 9am-7pm at Godley High School or at the GISD Administration Building beginning Monday, July 22 or after from 8am-4pm.
Documents for Residency & Address Verification
All documents must contain the name of the individual with whom the student resides, and GISD must keep a copy of the document provided on file.
New students (or those submitting a residency form with affidavit) must submit 2 documents. Returning students only need to submit 1 document for annual verification.
Please use one of the following documents to verify address and residency in GISD:
- utility statement (including electric, water, natural gas, satellite TV, cable TV, or internet bill) dated within 30 days of the date of application
The district will collect address and residency documentation annually.

Johnson County Apples Coalition will provide back-to-school supplies for low-income children. Served as supplies last.
