GISD StayALERT Reporting
Welcome
Thank you for taking a moment to visit the Godley ISD Police Department web page. Godley ISD Police Department was formed in 2023 when Godley ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a resolution for the formation of a school district police department in accordance with Texas Education Code §37.081. Working alongside the Texas Commission On Law Enforcement, an application was submitted and approved and Godley ISD Police Department came into existence!
Contained within you will find information and resources for students, parents, and staff members. Feel free to contact the department with any comments, concerns, or suggestions. We welcome the opportunity to improve in order to provide the best, most current information, resources, and service to our students, staff and the community!

Reporting
We encourage anyone with information about any bullying incident, security incident or other matter of concern to contact us immediately by phone, by email or through the StayALERT system.
For non-school hours:
-
Report through the StayALERT system: www.stayalert.info (anonymous option is available)
-
For emergencies: call 9-1-1
-
For non-emergencies: call 817-556-6060
For both the emergency and non-emergency numbers, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office dispatch will contact our GISD Police Department and other local law enforcement.
Posting on social media without clear information is not helpful and actually hinders any investigation. Tagging the school district or law enforcement agencies is also not the best way to inform us. Instead, please contact us directly during school hours, use the StayALERT system or call the emergency/non-emergency numbers listed above during non-school hours.
