Employment Verification

Overview

Godley ISD uses Verifent to provide proof of your employment and income.

Using Verifent allows us to respond to these verification requests securely, in a timely manner, and transparently to you, ensuring your life events (loans, financing, benefits, etc.) are not held up.

As a consumer, when you apply for credit or any benefit that requires proof of employment and/or income, upon signing the application, you provide consumer consent to the verifier to request this information from your employer. Please direct the verifier to www.verifent.com to make the verification request. The verifier, having been credentialed by Verifent, then makes the request via the Verifent website using our Organization Code 4FFF5D, your date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security number. The verifier must also provide Permissible Purpose in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), another added benefit of using Verifent.

Once the request is made, we will process the verification with the peace of mind knowing that you have provided your consent to release this information and the verifier has been vetted in the process.

Thank you for contacting GODLEY ISD with your employment and/or income verification request. We use Verifent to respond to all verification requests. Therefore, you, the verifier, will need to visit www.verifent.com, register (a one-time event), and submit your verification request. Once the request is received through the Verifent website, we will securely respond to your request as soon as possible. Please see the instructions/FAQ’s below to obtain the information you need.  

What is Verifent?

Verifent is a secure employment and income verification service that provides credentialed verifiers, who have a valid FCRA permissible purpose, with fast access to employment and income data. It also helps employers manage verification requests quickly and confidently.

Who is a Verifier?

Anyone requesting employment/income info with a valid FCRA permissible purpose. All verifiers must be approved.

Types of Verifiers:

• Commercial: Mortgage lenders, landlords, employers, etc.
• Government: SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, etc.

Instructions:

Visit www.verifent.com.

Register as a Verifier:

• Click “Get Started”
• Under “Verifier,” select “Register”

Submit your request through the Verifent portal. Visit the “Request an Employment or Income Verification” guide for detailed instructions.

  • Full name (as used during employment)
  • Date of birth
  • Last four digits of SSN
  • Proof of consent
