Chief Human Resources Officer
Cheryl Villanueva became the Chief Human Resources Officer in 2018. She also leads the Godley ISD student assessment program.
A native of Cleburne, Villanueva attended Southwestern Adventist University and earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She later received a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Tarleton State University.
With almost 30 years in public education, Villanueva has been in Godley since 2010. She previously taught in Rio Vista, where she was also involved in high school guidance counseling and student assessment.
Villanueva and her husband, Noe, have three children - Marcus Villanueva, Melissa Campbell, and Sarah Hill.
She is a member of the Joshua Seventh-Day Adventist Church and served as a Camp Fire leader for 12 years.
