Free Grab & Go Meals Form
The United States Department of Agriculture has extended the ability for school districts to feed meals under the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) through December 31st or until the agency runs out of COVID-19 response funds. Under SSO, all students eat free for both breakfast and lunch regardless of their eligibility status. Please understand that these are temporary allowances put in place to provide assistance to school districts and families as the nation recovers from the effects of COVID-19.
Beginning Monday, September 21, 2020, all students and any child 18 and under in Godley ISD will be able to eat breakfast and lunch at no charge. It is important to note that second entrees and a la carte items will be charged at regular price. Our current plan is to feed students under the SSO program until December 18th when we release for the Christmas break. Once we return to school on January 11th, 2021 we will feed students under the policies of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) as usual. We will then serve meals to students according to the meal pattern met for their grade level and they will be charged based on their meal eligibility.
Meals will be available for pickup Monday-Friday for all virtual learners and any child 18 and under within Godley ISD. To prevent waste, orders must be submitted by 10:00am the day prior to the meal being served via this Meal Order Form. Orders for Mondays or the day after a holiday must be submitted by 10:00am on the school day prior to service. Parents who pick up meals without their children present will be asked to provide proof that the child belongs in their household. Pickup information is listed below:
- Godley High School
- Door #17
- Godley Intermediate 5-6
- Door #13
