At last night's regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting our architectural design partner, Huckabee, gave an update on the progress of our Bond 2021 construction projects.
Many of our bond projects are underway, with the rest beginning soon!
High School Phase 2 Addition:
โขCTE Center & Competition Gym
--๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฌ with room for ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ!
--Construction of these additions has officially started, so if you see changes happening on campus, this is why.
โญ๏ธElementary Renovationsโญ๏ธ
The current GES (future R.B. Godley ES) and GIS 2-4 (future Legacy ES) will undergo renovations including, but not limited to:
โขCurrent GES (future R.B. Godley ES) โคต๏ธ
--Add landscaping and irrigation to front of campus
--New LED marquee with masonry surround
--Replace existing roof (pre-2009 portions)
--New flooring throughout, with exception to spaces with newer flooring
--Paint walls and door frames
--Replace highest priority roof top units (25 units)
โขCurrent GIS 2-4 (future Legacy ES) โคต๏ธ
--New LED marquee with masonry surround
--New drop-off canopy
--Replace elevator in 1939 building
--Replace roof top units (pre-2009 portion) (26 units)
--Add exterior zones to PA system
โขPleasant View Elementary construction is still underway! We look forward to opening this campus next school year!
โญ๏ธGMS Renovationsโญ๏ธ
โขOur middle school campus will receive renovations as well, but they have yet to be decided on. They will likely be either more classrooms or collaboration spaces!
Construction on these Phase 2 projects will hopefully begin this fall and be complete by the summer of 2023!
