The Godley High iLead team has been actively learning how to successfully repair the Chromebooks that are used district-wide as part of their curriculum in the Principles of Information Technology program. The class is made up of 8 students and is lead by Mr. Daniel Smith. The iLead team repairs broken screens and different screen issues and is currently learning how to repair the more intricate problem on the Chromebooks as well.
In October, Ms. LeAnn Wheeler set out to get the iLead students new workbenches to upgrade their workspace. They were using a table that wasn't sturdy, making it harder to effectively repair the Chromebooks. Shortly after setting up a Donors Choose funding page, Ms. Wheeler was able to purchase the workbenches and the students went right to work assembling them.
Thank you to the students for their hard work in helping keep the school's Chromebooks going! We're very excited to see the continued strides that the GHS iLead team makes learning the ins and outs of the technology industry, preparing them for success in their future endeavors after high school! Go Wildcats!
