District Advisory Council (DAC)
The District Advisory Council (DAC) is a representative, districtwide committee that advises and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees or its designee on the district’s educational program. The council supports the development and review of the District Improvement Plan, educational goals, performance objectives, and major instructional programs, while consulting on the planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of district initiatives. Composed of campus-based and district-level professional staff, parents, business representatives, and community members, the DAC ensures diverse perspectives are reflected and holds at least one public meeting each year to promote transparency and community engagement.
