The Godley ISD Bond Oversight Advisory Committee (BOAC) held its first meeting on May 6, 2026, at Godley High School.

Committee members introduced themselves and reviewed the purpose and responsibilities of the BOAC, which was established to promote transparency, community engagement and accountability related to voter-approved bond programs. The meeting included presentations on Godley ISD’s bond history, financial reports connected to the 2021 bond program and district transparency efforts, including recognition from the Texas Comptroller for finances, debt obligations and open government compliance. Members also discussed future meeting plans and topics related to ongoing bond program oversight.
