Godley ISD

My name is Charlotte Wilson, and I am the District Librarian for Godley ISD.  I am a lifelong resident of Godley and a graduate of Godley High School.  I attended Baylor University and Tarleton University for my undergraduate studies and earned a B. S. degree in education with a minor in English.  My graduate studies were in Information Science at the University of North Texas where I received a Learning Resources Endorsement.  I have been in the field of education for 32 years and part of the Godley teaching staff for 16 years.

My husband, Ed, and I live in the Godley community and have five sons who graduated from Godley High School.  They were active in all areas of athletics and were involved in Ag., UIL, and many other school activities during the time that they attended Godley Schools.  One son, Lane, has followed me into education and is a high school teacher and coach in Alvord, Texas.

As the District Librarian I am responsible for all four libraries in the Godley ISD school system.  I have a full-time aide in every library.

The aide for Godley Elementary School is Jennifer Cheatham.
