This is a base list of spelling words for your child to learn this week. Please help your child learn the spelling and meaning of each word. Explain to them and also try to give them some real experiences with these words. Additional words will be added to each student's list. The lists will be individualized as the students identify and correct their own spelling mistakes from their writing. Each student will have the same base list, but the rest of their words will be different from the other students. The students will be held accountable for the meaning of the vocabulary words, but not the spelling.
