HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University where I received my degree in 1999. This is my sixth year teaching second grade, all of them here at Godley. I have plans to complete my Master's Degree in the future, and eventually become a principal.
I am married to a very special woman and together we have three amazing children. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, hunting, fishing, movies, sports of all sorts, and cooking. I am also very involved in my church and it is a huge part of my life.

Weekly Homework Assignments:
Each Monday, you will receive a homework packet with homework for the week. We encourage you to assist your child with concepts and struggles, but ultimately it is the student’s responsibility to complete and return these assignments. The homework is to be completed and returned by Friday of the same week. If homework is not returned or is incomplete, the student will finish it in TAP on Friday during recess. Along with these sheets, remember to practice with spelling and vocabulary words for the week. Twenty minutes of reading each night, and signing their reading log is also considered part of their homework, and will still be checked daily. In this packet, you will find math and language homework that are related to what we are studying in the classroom. You will also find TAKS practice as we begin preparing students for 3rd grade. Please take your time and work at a pace suitable for your child, and reinforce the learning that is taking place at school. Thank you for all of your help. If you have any questions, please feel free to call your child’s teacher. |
