2010 Here We Come! This year, the GHS Band will feature the music of Bon Jovi. The Marching Band will be the biggest ever, with 150 enrolled in the program. We look forward to success this year... and look forward to Italy!
Band Camp begins August 2nd and runs every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday through the 26th. Friday Rehearsals are only necessary if all goals are not met in the three preceding days. Field Battery and Dance should report to the Band Hall at 5:00 each day. Band and Pit members should report at 6:00. Students need to wear SNEAKERS and should bring a water bottle and sun screen. |

The High School also has a number of ensembles. The WildCat Symphonic Band is the premier performing group of Godley High School. When preparing for UIL Contest, the WildCat Band divides into two seperate performing groups, the Symphonic Band and the Concert Band. Other groups include a percussion ensemble, jazz band, and the Roar on the Floor Basketball Band, as well as the WildCat Marching Band. Ensembles at the Middle School include the 8th grade band, 7th grade band, and 6th grade band. |
