Despite the 2014 volleyball season being a down one for Johnson County compared to recent years as far as team success, the First Financial Bank All-Johnson County Volleyball Team was still chock full of talent, led by the Godley Lady Cats. Sarah Moulden, English teacher, was selected as November teacher of the month. The students selected her because "she is sweet, helpful, and wants students to succeed." Mrs. Moulden says,"teaching is never boring. Student interaction is the highlight of my job. I enjoy creating challenges and relevant connections for students." Kaid Dalton was selected by his teachers for his leadership qualities, outstanding grades, overall achievement, and good attendance.(Click headline for picture.)
The anatomy and physiology class spent the day at the Perot Museum exploring the different scientific exhibits on display. They also got the opportunity to learn about the eyeball by dissecting a cow eye. Click on the article title to view a slideshow of a few of the days activities.
